Business Challenges:

Kanner & Whiteley LLC, an environmental law firm, had several aging Novell servers whose hard drives were slowly starting to fail making the possibility of a hardware failure an ever-present reality. In addition, while the company was fortunate to have survived Hurricane Katrina unscathed, the likelihood of future natural disasters remained high. Restoration with existing backup was slow and difficult to test, and the firm needed the ability to instantly recover data and applications should a flood, system failure, or other disaster occur.
