What Sets Us Apart from the Competition?

Quorum onQ provides outstanding convenience, performance, and protection. Whichever disaster recovery appliance you choose, you can expect exceptional features:

Why Choose onQ as Your Backup Disaster Recovery Appliance?

onQ is packed with features that would require multiple products from other vendors. onQ is quick to install and configure and easy to use.

Instant Recovery

Recover any failed server with one click in our browser interface. Our virtual machine clones of your production servers are always up to date and ready to run.

Archive

Policy-based migration and long term storage of virtually unlimited de-duplicated data that must be maintained indefinitely.

Automated Disaster Recovery Testing

Every time we snapshot a server, we start it up to guarantee that it will be usable when needed.

Backup

The onQ backup disaster recovery appliance takes a full backup of the server image, applications and data, and then executes incremental backups at a user defined frequency – as often as every 15 minutes.

Sandbox

Our fully isolated sandbox environment allows for patch testing, upgrades and configuration changes before moving into production.

Deduplication

Deduplication occurs twice, once at the source and once at the repository, thereby reducing storage and network bandwidth requirements.

Migration Tools

onQ offers a range of failback options from bare metal restore to incremental failback and to failback to VMware using vMotion. This ensures your backup disaster recovery appliance is always ready to support your migration. You can failback to similar or different hardware, from physical to virtual, virtual to virtual, or virtual to physical hardware.

VMware Protection & Recovery

onQ offers full VMware Integrated Protection (VIP) to provide backup from the VM level and recover back to a VMware host, or onQ, with a single click.

Built-in Clean Room

The onQ business continuity appliance gives you a secure clean room environment from which you can conduct unlimited testing before rolling out upgrades or changes in your production environment. This feature provides you with enhanced capabilities for finding and fixing ransomware infections. The clean room is included in your solution at no additional cost.

Unbelievable Performance

Our proprietary storage architecture combined with NVMe cache means that our Quorum onQ appliances are the fastest in the industry. An onQ purpose-built backup appliance can even function as your production server when all else fails. Quorum onQ basic products support up to 30K IOPs, with advanced products supporting up to 8,000,000+ IOPs.

Immutable Backups

All backups cannot be encrypted, altered or modified, protecting you from both insider threats and ransomware hackers.

Protect Physical + Virtual Servers

All offerings can protect both physical servers and virtual servers.

The onQ provides agent-based protection for Windows, Redhat Linux, CentOS Linux, Oracle Enterprise Linux, and Ubuntu Linux. Back-ups can be as frequent as every 15 minutes with 30 days of retention, or longer retention periods with our Archive Vault.

For servers managed by VMware, Quorum offers our VMware Integrated Protection (VIP). VIP is fully integrated into the native VMware components and allows easy management using vCentral and other VMware tools. In this solution, we use proxies to manage your VMs and save the back-ups as VDMK files to recover directly back to VMware. For virtual servers not using VMware, we provide agent-based back-ups similar to physical servers.

Quorum onQ is the beating heart of our Ransomware Protection and Disaster Recovery Solution.
